Brooke Jay (she/her) - CEO, Creative Director, Taste.Touch.Feel Producer
Brooke is the founder and Creative Director of The Haux Hive, guiding the creative vision for the organization, ensuring company values and brand integrity are maintained through each growth stage. She is the current Producer and Project Manager for THH’s premiere event series, Taste.Touch.Feel.
Brooke has a collective 15 years of experience working as a social entrepreneur, sexual professional, and multi-disciplinary artist. After nearly a decade as a touring sensual performance artist, she stepped behind the curtain to curate her own visions. She teaches Sensual Movement and Embodiment through workshops with FOREPLAY Sensual Dance and assists in the physical realization of ideas as a Creative Director & Filmmaker with LBJ Creations. She has shared her expertise on panels at Brown University and internationally at the Berlin Porn Festival. Through her experiences, she’s built an expansive network of entertainers, erotic professionals, and entrepreneurial know-how learned through years of trial & error.
Dame Sadie aka Madamme Seduction [she/they] - Resident Kink Educator & Safety Manager
Said to be the love child of Okoye and Maleficent, Madamme Seduction aka Dame Sadie is a Black, polyamorous, queer, fem dom, artist, burlesque performer, kinkster, educator, coach, community healer, and sexual somatics scholar. Their combination of seduction, intelligence, natural leadership skills, and presence will make you want to learn from her, submit to her, or both. As a certified Mindfulness and Meditation teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Crystal Healer, and Master Life Coach her goal is to increase awareness around the healing power of pleasure.
She has been the resident Kink Educator for Taste.Touch.Feel since its inception. Their work centers trauma-informed kink, safety and somatic healing for black and brown bodies through kink.
Taylor Smith [she/they] - Community Operations Manager
Taylor is a multi-passionate and multi-creative Pleasure and Sexual Educator and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility leader. Their life and work are centered around three values - community, love, and creation. She is a St. Louis native and currently resides in the DMV. Taylor serves as the Community Operations Manager for The Haux Hive.
As a multi-passionate and creative person, Taylor's work does not sit in the binary. They have presented their workshop, "Invisible Ink: It's the Nudes for Me!" on capturing your sensual and sexual self through photography and exploring sensual body movement as a form of sexual liberation and decolonization at Sex Down South. She appeared in Afrosexology's "Intercourse" video project highlighting Black people and their Sexual Liberation Journey. Taylor has spoken at several colleges and universities on various topics, such as decolonizing Black and Queer bodies in the nude & sensual expression, STI stigma mitigation within historically marginalized communities, and finding freedom through sex, joy, and sensuality.
Taylor earned their BA in Fine and Performing Arts - Graphic Design from Hampton University and MA in Education and Human Development from George Washington University. In addition, she is receiving her Sexologist education from The Center for Empowered Sexual Wellness.
Dee Rae aka Minxy (she/her) - Safe Word Producer + Resident Poly Educator + Polytics Host
Dee Rae (she/her), also known as Minxy, is a country girl living in the city world. Hailing from the magical land of Louisiana, the DMV has been her home for over 15 years. She's been in non-monogamous relationships since she started dating, and intentionally non-monogamous for 13 years. She currently identifies as a relationship anarchist.
She's a digital storyteller, content creator, event organizer, Black culture devotee, and the founder of Sunny Dee Productions, LLC - which produces educational and networking events, intimate parties, and live media (such as Sunny Dee, a relationship podcast centered on non-monogamy). The mission of Sunny Dee Productions is to facilitate connecting Black people with their culture and heritage, to create safe spaces for Black folks to explore themselves and their interests fully, and to cultivate community - all things she feels necessary in processing our collective hurt, helping each other heal, and moving towards our full liberation. Dee is an unabashed nerd, a womanist, and a proud alum of Howard University.
Carter [she/her] - Logistics Manager + Social Media Manager
Natalia Carter is the right hand to the CEO/Creative Director, serving as Logistics Manager, ensuring that our creative ideas can be achieved in a technical sense.
Natalia has 10+ years of experience in printed goods and marketing, 5+ years in corporate event production, and 4+ years in photography and videography with Androfemm Productions. She is the current Director of Storytelling for Black in Space.
In her second year with The Haux Hive, Natalia took over our Instagram platform, building our following from 500 to nearly 7000.
Krucial [she/her] - Cultural Integration Manager, Empathetic + Somatic Hauxlistic Practitioner
Zegasus, MSW, CHP aka “Krucial,” is a multilingual author, counselor, holistic practitioner, empath, and a lover of people. She truly enjoys engaging others on a deeper more meaningful level. Krucial earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies and a double minor in African/African American studies and non-violence studies. She earned her master’s degree in social work focusing on displaced populations and gender equity. Krucial is a spiritual doula, minister, and is developing her holistic approach to eclectic healing modalities within her local community and abroad. Krucial’s beloved career of choice is international development. Krucial also supports crisis intervention work in the specializations of suicide prevention, anti-human trafficking, and trauma-informed initiatives. Krucial founded and created the Magic of Sacred Arts Organization (MoSa) in 2019 geared towards assisting others to be whole and well through creative methodologies of healing and growth. Her passion stems to people of all ethnicities, socioeconomic classes, religions, and cultural traditions and beliefs. Krucial’s life purpose and passion is to promote sacred space to help others accomplish transformative healing and growth. Krucial has been a member of the Haux Hive since 2019, supporting their administration and community engagement. Krucial is a fluid and multifarious being who enjoys healthy energy exchange, impact play, and other opportunities to explore intersectional identities and expressions.
